Brethren, Do you enjoy having a good relationship with GOD and the fellowship we have with other Believers?

Yes?

And if so, is studying GOD'S WORD something you do first thing in the morning? First thing in the morning?

Why first thing in the morning?

Well, because GOD should be first and given priority before everything else.

Don't you Believe that we ought to put GOD first and LOVE HIS WORD above all else?

Consider Proverbs 8:17 and how GOD makes this affirmative statement saying, “I LOVE those who LOVE ME, And those who seek ME diligently will find ME.” Now consider Matthew 6:33 and how GOD'S instruction is that we seek HIM first.

It reads like this, “But seek first The KINGDOM of GOD and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, and all these things shall be added to you.”

Brethren, I don't know if you're aware of this, but the Catholic church teaches that studying The BIBLE is only for professionals.

Right!

And that all interpretation of SCRIPTURE should only be given by its hierarchy. But the situation in the days of the prophet Jeremiah illustrates why it’s important for everyone to know what GOD says about HIMSELF, so that we come to know HIM personally.

Yes, that we come to know HIM who affirmatively declares in John 8:32, “And you will know the TRUTH, and the TRUTH will set you free."

Consider this, The religious experts of Jeremiah’s day were misrepresenting GOD by prophesying “the delusions of their own minds” and leading people astray with their lies.

Consider how Jeremiah 23:26-27 makes this absolutely clear, by saying, “How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Indeed they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart, who try to make people forget MY NAME by their dreams which everyone tells his neighbor, as their fathers forget MY NAME for Baal.”

Brethren, Do you know that the Catholic church teaches that we can only come to GOD through Mary? And are we aware that their teachings contradict The WORD of GOD?

Contradict The WORD of GOD?

Yes! Consider John 14:6 and how The LORD HIMSELF makes this absolutely clear by saying, “I AM The WAY, The TRUTH, and The LIFE; and no one comes to The FATHER except by ME.”

Brethren, Because of the dishonesty of Israel's rogue prophets, the people did not know the true nature of GOD. They didn't know the TRUTH! Today, the Catholic church teaches that Romans 3:23 is not true.

Right!

For they teach that it's not all who have sinned.

Instead, their teachings lead one to Believe that Mary was born without sin, and that she never sinned. And they go as far as to teach their congregation that she was taken bodily to HEAVEN, because she was absolutely sinless, pure, and "immaculate."

The problem with that teaching though is that it totally contradicts The WORD of GOD, and portrays A HOLY GOD, as a liar!

But here's what GOD says about those who teach contrary to HIS WORD. Consider Jeremiah 23:32 and how GOD is against anyone who contradicts HIS WORD.

It reads like this, saying, ”Behold, I AM against those who prophesy false dreams," says The LORD, "and tell them, and cause MY people to err by their lies and by their recklessness. Yet I did not send them or command them; therefore they shall not profit this people at all," says The LORD.”

Brethren, How can anyone profit from any teaching that contradicts The WORD of The LIVING GOD?🤔

How? How can anyone profit from embracing the teachings of the false prophets of Catholicism that teach that Mary and Joseph, never had any children of their own?

They try and portray Mary as a perpetual virgin.

But Matthew 13:55-56 teaches us The TRUTH in regards to the children that Mary and Joseph had and even mentions a few of them by name.

Consider how GOD'S WORD exposes the lies of Catholicism saying, “Is this not the carpenter's son? Is not HIS mother called Mary? And HIS brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? And HIS sisters, are they not all with us?”

Did you catch that?

The LORD even had a few sister's!

Where then did this Man get all these things?

Beloved, Catholicism portrays GOD as angry, vengeful, and eager to punish people for every minor offense. They assure their congregation that not attending mass FAITHFULLY every Sunday, is a mortal sin! But GOD teaches that sin, is sin. And HE doesn't teach that failing to attend church, is a mortal sin. You see, GOD describes HIMSELF as MERCIFUL and GRACIOUS, LONGSUFFERING, and abounding in GOODNESS and TRUTH.

And if there be any doubt in regards to this TRUTH. Exodus 34:6-7 expounds saying, “And The LORD passed before him and proclaimed, "The LORD, The LORD GOD, MERCIFUL and GRACIOUS, LONGSUFFERING, and abounding in GOODNESS and TRUTH, keeping MERCY for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children's children to the third and fourth generation." Did you catch that? By no means clearing the guilty! I point you to this TRUTH, because others show the world a picture of a LOVING GOD Who is too kind to punish wrongdoing. But GOD describes HIMSELF in Jeremiah 9:24 as ONE Who exercises JUDGMENT and RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Beloved, Our GOD is both a just JUDGE and a LOVING FATHER. But if anyone rejects The TRUTH of HIS WORD, and expects to obtain MERCY, they need not bother! For outside of embracing The TRUTH of GOD’S WORD, there is no MERCY. And John 12:48 assures us of this by saying: “He who rejects ME, and does not receive MY WORDS, has that which judges him - The WORD that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.”

So please remember, by embracing GOD’S TRUTH, MERCY will be obtained. But all who reject GOD’S TRUTH, will utterly be refrained! Yes, refrained, rebuked, and even rejected! And that, Beloved, without remedy! So remember, to the unbelieving world, GOD will be a just Judge! But to us who Believe and embrace The TRUTH of HIS WORD, HE is a LOVING FATHER. And if we emphasize one over the other, we paint a false picture of GOD and decieve our Brother. So among the most important things that we can know about GOD and proclaim to this lost and dying world is that GOD does not want to punish anyone. And Ezekiel 33:11 makes this point absolutely clear by saying, “Say to them: 'As I live,' says The LORD GOD, 'I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways. For why should you die, O house of Israel?”

Beloved, Our LORD wants the unbelieving world to repent of rejecting HIS WORD, and to turn from embracing the lies of the devil so that HE can forgive them. And 2 Peter 3:9 makes this TRUTH abundantly clear, by saying: “The LORD is not slack concerning HIS promise, as some count slackness, but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”

And to us who already have, Hebrews 12:28-29 has this to say, “Therefore, since we are receiving a KINGDOM which cannot be shaken, let us have GRACE, by which we may serve GOD acceptably with reverence and Godly fear. For our GOD is a consuming fire."

So Brethren, of GOD’S LOVE, MERCY, and TRUTH, we can each be absolutely certain!

Because to be Truly LOVING, HE also must be Absolutely JUST. And Beloved, HE is!
