Will we LOVE HIS appearing?

Beloved,

Are you among the brethren, whom the apostle Paul mentions in 2nd Timothy 4:8? I mean, those of us who will LOVE the appearance of our Beloved LORD, JESUS CHRIST?

In that passage of SCRIPTURE, the apostle Paul expounds on the matter speaking about a crown of RIGHTEOUSNESS, which the LORD, the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, will give to everyone who LOVES HIS appearing.

And just what appearing is that, some might ask?

To which I will point them to 1st Thessalonians 4:13-18 where Paul clarifies to each of us, “that even those who have fallen asleep in CHRIST, who's HOPE, is CHRIST, shall rise from the grave, and be gathered unto the LORD in the air, as we also will.”

Consider how it reads: “But I do not want you to be ignorant brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no HOPE.

For if we believe that JESUS died and ROSE again, even so GOD will bring with HIM those who sleep in JESUS. For this we say to you by the WORD of the LORD, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the LORD will by no means precede those who have fallen asleep. For the LORD HIMSELF will descend from HEAVEN with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the Trumpet of GOD. And the dead in CHRIST will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the LORD in the air.”

You see, HE won't be putting HIS FEET on the earth, but we will meet HIM in the air, among the clouds.

And thus, we shall always be with the LORD.

Therefore, comfort one another with these WORDS.

Personally, I believe that those are comforting WORDS!

However, to those who think they need more clarification. Consider 1 Corinthians 15:50-55 and how we will be dressed properly, in order to inherit the HEAVENLY realm.

Consider how it reads: “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the KINGDOM of GOD; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all

sleep, but we shall all be changed - in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last Trumpet.”

For the Trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written:

"Death is swallowed up in VICTORY.

O death, where is your sting?

O Hades, where is your victory?"

Brethren,

Sometime ago, I spoke to an elderly believer about the coming of the LORD. With great joy, I mentioned to him how excited I am about the Rapture of the Church. He then told me about the feast of Trumpets, and explained how that Jewish feast celebrates the Coronation of the MESSIAH. He told me that when the Rapture actually takes place, it would likely be on the feast of Trumpets, because that feast celebrates the Coronation of the MESSIAH. He said, that feast, is a three day feast and begins at first sight of the new moon. He also mentioned that it usually lands on a date in September. He then mentioned that he especially looks for the LORD, during the feast of Trumpets.

Surely, that's all fine and well, yet when the LORD spoke to HIS disciples about HIS return, HE exclaimed, saying in Luke 12:35-40, “Be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

Let me share the entire SCRIPTURE with you and get your thoughts on it.

It reads like this, giving us this instruction: "Let your waists be girded and your lamps burning; and you yourselves be like men who wait for their Master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks, they may open to HIM immediately. Blessed are those servants whom the Master, when HE comes, will find them watching. Assuredly, I say to you that HE will gird HIMSELF and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them. And if HE should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, BLESSED are those servants. But know this, that if the Master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

Did you catch that? Be ready!

Yet, what does it mean for us to be ready for CHRIST’S return?

Well, the LORD said that instead of worrying about material things, we are to Trust HIS provision for everything, and to make the advancement of HIS KINGDOM, top our priority! Right.

That HE should be first in our lives.

And to everyone who is willing to do so, HE assures us by saying these WORDS from Mathew 6:31-34, "Therefore, do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' Or what shall we drink?' Or what shall we wear?' For after all these things Gentiles seek. For your HEAVENLY FATHER knows that you need all these things. But seek first the KINGDOM of GOD and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

Brethren,

Instead of worrying, and instead of fear that paralyzes us from serving the LORD, our GOD. We are to demonstrate FAITH that empowers us to be obedient to serve. Like FAITHFUL servants, we are to be about our FATHER'S business, and expect our LORD and BRIDEGROOM, at any time.

You see, when GOD gives us HIS WORD, that HE will return as a thief in the night. HE is basically saying, that HE will return, and meanwhile, we are the good fight, to fight!

At any unexpected hour, the WORD of GOD could call for us with POWER. So our obedience to the great commission, will speak more than our lips, and say, “I’m ready for YOUR Coming, and YOUR Coronation, LORD. JESUS.”

For I've already crowned YOU, LORD, as KING of my heart.

YOU are my GOD, MASTER, and KING! Honestly, LORD, YOU are Everything!

Yes, everything RIGHTEOUS and TRUE!

LORD JESUS, that's YOU!

JESUS
