Will we be prepared to meet The LORD?
Brethren,
Knowing that Luke 21:27 assures us, that we will see "The Son of Man" coming on the clouds, with POWER, and Great GLORY."
Are we each rejoicing in the fact that every single second that goes by, we are getting closer to seeing the fulfillment of all things?"
How do we know?"
Well, because The LORD, our GOD, has given each of us this WORD, from John 15:15-16, saying:
No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his MASTER is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from MY FATHER I have made known to you. You did not choose ME, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask The FATHER in MY NAME
HE may give you.
Brethren,
The LORD, having chosen us, gives us signs to look for.
Why? Well, so that we know the time of our REDEMPTION, is near? Yes?
And so in Luke 21:28, HE admonishes each of us, saying: Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your REDEMPTION draws near."
[When these begin to happen?" What things?
Well, the things that The LORD clearly said would happen, after the disciples approached HIM privately, and asked this question from Mathew 24:3,: "Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?" [The LORD responded to them, speaking from Mathew 24:4-8, saying:
"Take heed that no one decieves you, for many will come in MY NAME, saying, 'I AM The CHRIST.'
and will decieve many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars.
See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and KINGDOM against KINGDOM. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Brethren,
That’s BIBLICAL prophecy!"
And when it comes to BIBLICAL prophecy," one particular prophecy, I am personally, excited to see fulfilled."
Let me share it with you, and get your thoughts on it.
1st Corrinthians 15:50-55 reveals it like this: Now this I say, Brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit The KINGDOM Of GOD; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be charged- in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last Trumpet. For the Trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in VICTORY."
"O Death, where is your sting?
"O Hades, where is your VICTORY?
[Brethren,
as close as we are to seeing the fulfillment of this prophecy; I'd like us to know and to be absolutely certain, that at HIS coming, HE wants us to be prepared to recieve HIM.
And how will be prepared?"
I believe I know how!"
"By considering closely what Isaiah meant, when he said in 40:1-3-: “Make straight in the desert a highway for our GOD.”
At the time that Isaiah said those WORDS, Israel was in a time of war.
And because the ravages of war are devastating. The LORD, our GOD, expands our understanding of that moment in Israel's history, by saying in Isaiah 40:1-3]:"Comfort, yes, Comfort, my people!" Says your GOD. "Speak Comfort to JERUSALEM, and cry out to her, that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned;
For she has recieved from The LORD'S "HAND,"
Double for all her sins."
["Double," is too costly for embracing the will and desires of the devil."]
And so later in Israel's history,
John the Baptist called people to repentance, by saying in Mark 1:3 “prepare The Way of The LORD;” make HIS paths straight.' "
Brethren,
John the Baptist was calling the "olive tree," the children of Israel, to prepare their hearts for the arrival of their long awaited MESSIAH.
And the prophet Isaiah had made it abundantly clear, by saying: Therefore The LORD HIMSELF will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call HIS NAME IMMANUEL.
[IMMANUEL?" Meaning, GOD With us!"] Us, Beloved," who are expecting the Rapture of the Church, and are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood. Yes, we who were once not a people." But today, are the people of GOD!" For 1st Peter 2:9-10 assures us, saying: But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a HOLY Nation, HIS Own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of HIM Who called you out of darkness and into HIS Marvelous LIGHT; who once were not a people but are now the people of GOD, who had not obtained MERCY but have now obtained MERCY.
Brethren,
Israel, is "the original olive tree." 🫒The people whom GOD referred to," as a "stiff-necked" people.
And as a matter of fact, in Exodus 32:9 The LORD speaks of Israel, like this: And The LORD said to Moses: I have seen this people, and indeed it is a stiff-necked people!"
Brethren,
Why would The LORD, our GOD, refer to them that way?"
Because of their obedience to HIS WORD?" Or because of their rebelliousness?"
And if it is because of their rebellious ways. Can we do better?"
I ask this, because today.
We who have Believed The GOSPEL of CHRIST. Have been grafted into that original "Olive tree." Israel 🇮🇱 🌳
Because we Believe in
The WORD of The LIVING GOD, JESUS CHRIST. GOD has chosen us," who are not Jews, but Gentiles.
Because we Believe in HIS WORD, GOD has not counted us among the absurd." Yes, simply because we Believe in HIS WORD that reveals HIS finished work of The Cross, for the remission of sins.
Yes, GOD has chosen us Gentiles, who have never physically seen "The RISEN CHRIST.
But nonetheless, we Believe!"
And Blessed are those who have not seen yet have Believed, The LORD assured Thomas."
We are they, the Blessed, Beloved!
And we are they who have been grafted into the original olive tree, being Israel."🇮🇱 🫒
Let me share how Paul," an apostle to the Gentiles, reveals it in
Romans 11:13-18": For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my Ministry, if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and SAVE some of them. [SAVE some of them?" Yes, some "Believing Jews," who are wise enough to embrace "The WORD" Of The LIVING GOD."] Thus, Romans 11:15-18 continues by saying: For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but LIFE from the dead? For if The firstfruits is HOLY, the lump is also HOLY; and if The ROOT is HOLY, so are the branches. And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of The ROOT and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support The ROOT, but The ROOT supports you." ["The ROOT?" Who is The ROOT?"
JESUS CHRIST!'] Yes, HE is The ROOT and offspring of David!"
HE is The Beginning and The End." The First and the last!"
HE is our everything, my friend!
And so I ask each of you, to keep your eye's on Israel, and the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38-39.
For the time of REDEMPTION, that will one day be here, is yours and mine!"
And so we must examine ourselves." Yes, examine our heart. ❤
For 2nd Corrinthians 13:5 gives us this admonition, saying: Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the FAITH.
Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that JESUS CHRIST is in you?-unless indeed you are disqualified. [But I'm praying, Beloved, that each of us would know, that we are not disqualified?] But I Trust that you will know that we are not disqualified.
Now I pray to GOD that you do no evil, not that we should appear approved, but that you should do what is honorable, though we may seem disqualified. For we can do nothing against The TRUTH, but for The TRUTH. For we are glad when we are weak and YOU are STRONG.
And this also we pray, that you may be made complete. Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the
authority The LORD has given me for edification and not for destruction.
Brethren,
I pray that each of us would agree, that we can’t afford to neglect the SPIRITUAL engineering, that would prepare The Way for us to be pleasing GOD.
For our Trust in our LORD'S sacrifice, is The Only WAY for us to approach GOD, and be pleasing to HIM, in TRUTH."
And so a familiar VOICE from John 16:13-15 speaks to us, saying: "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when HE, The SPIRIT of TRUTH, has come, HE will guide you into all TRUTH; for HE will not speak on HIS Own authority, but whatever HE hears HE will speak; and HE will tell you things to come.
Brethren,"
Because The SPIRIT of TRUTH is guiding us. Our confidence and Trust, is in The WORD of The LIVING GOD."
Yes, in GOD'S WORD that tells us, that our sins are removed as far, as is the East from the West!" And now we await the calling of HIM, Who is to call us up into the clouds, and is the very BEST!
"Come up here, HE will say!"
Brethren,
Our LORD, says in John 8:51
Most assuredly, I say to you, If anyone keep MY "WORD," he shall never see death. ["Right, if anyone obeys The WORD of The LIVING GOD, we shall live, and not taste death."
Why? Because obedience to "The WORD Of The LIVING GOD, is our LIFE!"
Our LIFE!"
And we are prepared for The BRIDEGROOM, and to become HIS wife!"
We are ready to enter into HIS GLORY!"
And we won't neglect sharing The GOSPEL story!"
AMEN?"
