He, who finds a wife, finds a good thing.
Knowing that in Ephesians 5:25, our LORD instructs us, who are husbands, to LOVE our wives." Yes, to LOVE them, even as HE, LOVED the church, and gave HIMSELF for us; Yes! For us, the church, and BODY of CHRIST."
So how are you doing with your relationship with your wife?" Good?" Real good?"
Do you put alot of time and effort into that relationship?" Or very little? I ask this Beloved,, because when most men pursue a relationship with a woman, they're usually serious about that relationship. Usually!" They call. They write notes. They ask thoughtful questions. They take flowers, candy, books, dinner, and other gifts. They spend a lot of time and effort in pursuit of that relationship. But all to often, people choose to go their way, and no longer feel like being committed to that relationship."
But did I mention, that GOD, "Hates divorce?" Yes, Hates, with a capital H!"
With that said, I point you to the book of Revelation."
Revalation?" Yes, specifically Revalation 2:4-5." Where, I'd like to remind you of your experience when you first embraced The GOSPEL of CHRIST." Yes, that amazing experience, when you Believed GOD," and recieved JESUS CHRIST, as your personal LORD and SAVIOR."
Yes, that now, you would obey The WORD of The LIVING GOD, and no longer walk in darkness, by doing the will of the powers of darkness.
"Do you remember having Believed, and then continuing in your willingness to embrace the free gift of Everlasting LIFE. By embracing JESUS CHRIST - The WORD of The LIVING GOD?"
And do you also remember, Beloved, the things that at the beginning, "you first did" for The GLORY of GOD?"
Ok then, hold that thought!"
Let me share Revelation 2:4-5 with you, and get your thoughts. It reads like this: Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first LOVE. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove hour lampstand from its place - unless you repent.
Way back in the 10th century bc, ("Before CHRIST") Solomon recommended that kind of serious commitment when it comes to our relationships with GOD, and pursuing the "wisdom," that requires." Wisdom? Yes, wisdom!" And how would you say, one obtains wisdom?" 🤔 Well, a dictionary definition of wisdom would reveal wisdom, as “understanding what is true, and right." But GOD, through Philippians 4:8, adds": Whatever things are
noble, just, pure, lovely, of good report. These, Beloved, we are to think on." For in The Eye's of GOD, these things will last.”
So can we see, that obtaining "wisdom" is crucial, if we want a relationship that Glorifies GOD."
[Maybe that’s why Solomon used so many active verbs in Proverbs 2 to describe our needed efforts to gain a heart of wisdom.
Consider what Solomon said, “incline your ear to wisdom,” “apply your heart to understanding.” “Cry out for her!” “lift up your voice,” “seek her,” “search for her.”
And I would add, "Do not cease in your pursuit, to obtain her." Let me share that passage with you. And notice how GOD, asks us, the, "If, question!" It reads like this": MY Son, if you recieve MY WORDS,
And treasure MY commands within you, So that you incline your ear to wisdom,
And apply your heart to understanding;
Yes, if you cry out for discernment, [Pleading with GOD, "Help me understand!"]
And lift up your voice for understanding,
If you seek her as silver,
And search for her as for hidden treasures;
Then you will understand the fear of The LORD,
And find the knowledge of GOD.
Seeking wisdom takes effort, and the Scriptures are able to make us wise, so that we know, where to find it: “For The LORD gives wisdom, The BIBLE, says; ["Yes, The WORD of The LIVING GOD, Beloved, gives wisdom."] from HIS MOUTH come knowledge and understanding.”
[HE isn’t storing up wisdom for HIMSELF; “HE stores up sound wisdom for the upright.”] The upright?" Yes, for one," who does according to The WORD of The LIVING GOD.
So I tell you, Beloved,
Seeking wisdom," is simply seeking GOD! Right!" And the only way to make sure we'll find HIM, is by seeking The WORD of The LIVING GOD," with all our heart. And staying in wisdom," is simply staying in obedience to The WORD of The LIVING GOD."
Yes, and never depart!"
For Hebrews 3:12 gives us this WORD of warning, saying: Beware, Brethren, lest there be in any of you, an evil heart of unbelief.
Yes, because "Unbelief" is equal to calling GOD, a liar."
And GOD, Beloved, is not, a liar!" But all who were born of sexual relations between man and woman. Are born liars!"
Do you remember, GOD, telling us, that Pilate had mingled the blood of some Galileans with the sacrifices of pagan rituals. Or of the death of those, whom the tower of "Siloam, fell upon, and killed a great number?" And do you remember, how The LORD, admonishes us, in Luke 13:1-5, saying": Unless you truly repent, you will all likewise perish!"
Consider how it reads: There were present at that season some who told HIM about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And JESUS answered and said to them,
"Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, no: but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in JERUSALEM?
I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish."
[Do you remember, Beloved?"]
