Brethren, Have you ever asked yourself, "Why does GOD delight HIMSELF in reminding us, HIS children, of HIS Great LOVE for us?"

Surely, it's because HE wants us to respond to HIS LOVE, and aim to LOVE HIM above this world, and the things in the world itself.

For if we LOVE the world and the things that are in the world 1st John 2:15-17 assures us, "that the LOVE of The FATHER is not in us." Consider how it reads,

“Do not LOVE the world or the things in the world, If anyone LOVES the world, the LOVE of The FATHER

is not in him.

For all that is in the world - the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of LIFE - is not of The FATHER but is of the world.

And the world is passing away, and the lust of it, but he who does the will of GOD abides forever.”

[Now consider this, The SCRIPTURES clearly depict the Anti-CHRIST that shall come, and even assures us, that many Anti-CHRIST's have already come.

1st John 2:18-23 reveals them like this, “little children, it is the last hour and as you have heard that the Anti-CHRIST Is coming even now many Anti-CHRIST'S have come by which we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us, for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest that none of them were of us.

But you have an anointing from The HOLY ONE and you know all things.

I have not written to you because you do not know The TRUTH, but because you know it, know HIM,

JESUS! Even so, we know and that no lie is of The TRUTH.

Who is a liar but he who denies that JESUS is The CHRIST? He is Anti-CHRIST that denies The FATHER and The Son.

Whoever denies The Son does not have The FATHER either; he who acknowledges The Son has The FATHER also.”

[Brethren, Many are they, who deny The Son of GOD, and do not recieve The TRUTH that HE speaks and declares.

We each Believe, that JESUS, is The Son of GOD."

But do we also Believe that he who has seen HIM, has seen The FATHER?

Yes?

No?

Well, put yourself in Philip's shoes and consider The LORD making this statement, and subsequently, posing this question from John 14:7-9.

Consider GOD'S WORD , "If you had known ME, you would have known MY FATHER also; and from now on you know HIM and have seen HIM."

Now being in Philip's shoes, who are you looking at, when this question is being asked of you?

Well, still in doubt, Philip asks this. Philip said to HIM, "LORD, show us The FATHER, and it is sufficient for us." JESUS said to him, "Have I been with you so long and yet you have not known ME, Philip?

He who has seen ME has seen The FATHER; so how can you say, "Show us The FATHER'?

[How many are they, Beloved, who deny The Son of GOD and will not receive The TRUTH of HIS WORD?

I mean, knowing that there is only One GOD, and that HIS WORD, is ONE."

How many are they who fail to Believe The LORD's declaration from John 10:30, where HE HIMSELF, clearly assures us, saying, “I and MY FATHER are ONE.”

[And even in Deuteronomy 6:4 HE assures us, saying, "Hear O Israel: The LORD our GOD, The LORD is ONE.”

[Now isn't that, what we Believe?

That The LORD our GOD, is ONE?

If so, then let's consider 1st Timothy 3:16 and how GOD expounds, saying:

“And without controversy great is the mystery of Godliness: GOD was manifested in the FLESH, JUSTIFIED in The SPIRIT, Seen by Angels, Preached among the gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in GLORY.” Do we Believe that story? 🤔 What about 2nd Corrinthians 5:19 and how The LORD assures us, saying: “That is, that GOD was in CHRIST reconciling the world to HIMSELF, not imputing their trespasses against them, and has committed to us The WORD of reconciliation.”

Brethren, JESUS CHRIST, is The WORD of reconciliation that we've each embraced and haven been called to preach!

HE is The WORD that in the beginning said, “Let there be LIGHT, and there was LIGHT." HE is The same LIGHT that spoke in John 8:12 and said, “ Then JESUS spoke to them again, saying: "I AM The LIGHT of the world. He who follows ME shall not walk in darkness, but have The LIGHT of LIFE." Yes, Beloved, JESUS CHRIST is The same LIGHT that shined brightly and spoke from a burning bush in Exodus 3:14, saying, "I AM Who I AM." And HE said, "Thus, you shall say to the children of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.” Yes, Beloved, JESUS CHRIST is The same I AM Who spoke to the unbelieving Pharisees in John 8:58, and said, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM."

Brethren, How many are they who refuse to embrace The WORD of The LIVING GOD?

And how many more consistently need to be reminded of HIS PROMISES? Well, because forgetfulness is so prevalent, the Israelites also needed a reminder.

Consider this, Although the Jordan River had been at flood stage, Joshua 3:13-17 tells us that the Israelites had been able to cross over on dry ground because The POWER of GOD had stopped the water from flowing. Yet, that was not the first time that an amazing experience had happened to them. For years before, in an escape from Egypt, Exodus 14:19-21 tell us, “The Angel of The LORD, went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud went before them and stood behind them. So it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel. Thus it was a cloud and darkness to the one, and it gave LIGHT by night to the other, so that the one did not come near to the other all that night. Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and The LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided. So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.

Brethren, That was Israel’s deliverance out of Egypt. But years later, they would come to the Jordan River, and face another obstacle. Joshua 3:11-13 reveals their experience like this, saying, “Behold, The Ark of the covenant of The LORD of all the earth is crossing over before you into the Jordan. Now therefore, take for yourselves twelve men from the tribe of Israel, one man from every tribe. And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests who bear The Ark of The LORD, The LORD of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, the waters that come down from upstream, and they shall stand as a heap."

Brethren, After the children of Israel crossed over the Jordan River GOD instructed HIS people to build a memorial of stones so that in the future when children would ask about the stones, parents could remind them of The MIGHTY HAND Of GOD. Joshua 4:21-24 reveals The LORD's instruction like this, “Then HE spoke to the children of Israel saying, "When your children ask their fathers in time to come saying, "What are these stones?' then you shall let your children know saying, 'Israel crossed over this Jordan on dry land' for The LORD your GOD dried up the waters of the Jordan before you until you had crossed over as The LORD your GOD did to the Red Sea, which HE dried up before us until we had crossed over, that all the people's of the earth may know The HAND Of The LORD, that is MIGHTY, that you may fear The LORD your GOD forever."

Brethren, As The LORD our GOD continually cared for the Israelites, HE continues to care and provide for us today.

Yet, what stones of remembrance will we use to remind our children, grandchildren, and even ourselves, of the evidence of GOD’S MIGHTY HAND upon us?
