Have you ever lost something that's extremely precious to you, and then invested a great deal of time, looking for it? 🤔
With that said, and being fully aware that every Soul is precious to GOD, and that HE is not willing that any should perish.
Consider this question, HE poses to each of us.
Luke 15:4 reveals it like this: Which one of you having a hundred sheep, does not leave the 99, and go after the one which is lost?
Now try and profoundly consider HIS question, because in Luke 15:4, The LORD'S parable of the shepherd and the lost sheep, is found some lessons about our responsibility to share The GOSPEL.
You see, The LORD isn’t satisfied with 99 percent of HIS sheep being safe within the fold. HE will not say: Only one is missing! Let's move on. No, The LORD feels PERSONALLY responsible for even one missing sheep, and HE will not leave even one, nor forsake anyone, who embraces HIM through FAITH in HIS finished work of The Cross. Right! HE will not leave even one, who is willing to embrace HIM as BOSS and LORD.
HE will go after even one who Trusts in HIM, because HE knows that the sheep will not come back on its own. HE knows that the sheep is indifferent to its lost state, and its need of being found and saved from certain death.
So The LORD takes the initiative, and goes searching for it. And HE does not give up, Beloved Brethren, until HE finds the one lost sheep. That’s exactly what HE did with you and me, Beloved Brethren.
We are The BODY Of CHRIST. And our LORD would have us ask ourselves: Am I my brother’s keeper?
Or do I have a heart like Cain, who hated his Brother, and after killing him, could've buried him deeper?
Even though we are today, BORN AGAIN, and son's and daughters of The LIVING GOD.
We were each, once born of the flesh, and prone to hate others.
But our Good Shepherd, left the 99, and through HIS BODY, Preached HIS WORD to us. Yes, and HE revealed HIS finished work of The Cross, for the remission of our sins.
And HE used HIS SPIRIT to convict us of sin, and of RIGHTEOUSNESS.
And we each heard HIS VOICE, and responded to HIS offer to SAVE us from Eternal death and damnation! Yes, to SAVE us from our sins? For Romans 6:23 assures each of us, that the wages of sin is death.
And because we have all sinned, we heard GOD denounce our sins, and convict us of them.
But the Good News, is, that we each embraced The GOOD NEWS of The RISEN CHRIST!
We Believed what GOD assured us of, when HE told us of the death of The Cross of HIS Son, in order to take away our sins. We heard GOD say that HE so LOVED the world, that HE gave HIS only begotten Son, that whoever Believes in HIM should not perish but have Everlasting LIFE.
GOD first convicted each of us of sin. Then, through Trusting in the finished work of The Cross Of HIS SON.
HE convicted each of us, that CHRIST, is, our RIGHTEOUSNESS!
So now we hear HIM convict each of us of RIGHTEOUSNESS, because our FAITH is in CHRIST.
For by Romans 13:14 GOD instructed us to put on The LORD JESUS CHRIST, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill it in its lusts.
And because that is our aim, Beloved Brethren, we hear our LORD say to each of us through John 15:16: You did not choose ME, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask The FATHER in MY NAME
HE may give you.
Can you hear The WORD of The LIVING GOD, Beloved Brethren?
I ask this, Beloved, because in John 10:27-30 The LORD clearly states: "MY sheep hear MY VOICE, and I know them, and they follow ME. And I give them Eternal LIFE, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of MY HAND. MY FATHER, Who has given them to ME, is GREATER than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of MY FATHER'S HAND. I and MY FATHER are ONE!"
Beloved, we are each sheep of our LORD'S pasture, and members of HIS BODY.
And even though HE left us here, in the midst of wolves, and of darkness. HE has not left us orphans, but has given us HIS SPIRIT, as LIGHT, to guide us unto all RIGHTEOUSNESS, and to all TRUTH.
And in TRUTH,
HE is sending us to Preach The GOSPEL to this wicked generation, and wants us to be harmless as doves.
Yes, for our Beloved LORD, says, in John 20:21 “Peace to you, As The FATHER has sent ME, I also send you."
Our LORD, The WORD Of The LIVING GOD, is sending us. And it is HE, Beloved Brethren, Whom we need to be obey!
For Philippians 2:8 assures us, that even our LORD, being found in appearance as a Man, humbled HIMSELF and became obedient to the point of death. Even the death of The Cross.✝️
And because we Believe in HIS finished work of The Cross. HE is now, Beloved, our BOSS.
Our BOSS, that assures us: As The FATHER has sent ME, I also send you.
The devil doesn't want us to go and do, as JESUS, our LORD, instructs us to do? Can we each agree on that? Yes?
Well, even Joshua 24:15 is a spoken WORD, to the people of GOD.
I also say to you: “And if it seems evil to you to serve The LORD, choose for yourselves this day Whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve The LORD.”
I understand, that Whom we obey is Whom we call, LORD, that way. For Romans 6:16-19 assures us of this, and has this to say: “Do you not know that to Whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that One's slaves Whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to RIGHTEOUSNESS? But GOD be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of RIGHTEOUSNESS.”
In other words, having been set free from doing the will and desires of the devil. We became slaves of GOD, and now we know that doing HIS will is what's Right!
I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of RIGHTEOUSNESS for HOLINESS.
Isn't that what we most want, Beloved Brethren?
