To whom did GOD swear, that they would not enter HIS rest?

Brethren,

Would you agree with me, that coming to know The LORD,

"is the very best thing that has ever happened to us?"

                  Yes?

And since you agree, isn't it also, true, that it's absolutely the best thing that could ever happen to anyone!"

              Most definitely!"

Well, I know that many people claim to Believe in GOD, but have no interest, in complying with HIS command, to LOVE  HIM."

Yet, "why do you believe that GOD command us to LOVE  HIM?"🤔

 Isn't it, so that through our LOVE for  HIM, "our obedience, will follow?"

Doesn't, HE, make it abundantly clear by saying these WORDS from John 14:15 

"If you LOVE  ME, keep MY commandments!"

[And since, we LOVE GOD, and wish to comply with HIS demands.

"Isn't it, required of us, to LOVE our fellow man, as we LOVE ourselves?"

                Well, isn't it?"

We who know that it is.  Also know this WORD of instruction, from

2nd Corrinthians 5:18-20, that speaks to us who have been reconciled, and given the ministry of reconciliation:

Now all things are of GOD,  Who has reconciled us to HIMSELF through JESUS CHRIST,  and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,   that is, that  GOD was in CHRIST reconciling the world to HIMSELF,  not imputing their trespasses against them, and has committed to us The WORD of reconciliation.

Now then, we are ambassadors for CHRIST, as though GOD were pleading through us:  We implore you on CHRIST'S behalf, be reconciled to GOD.

[And isn't, that, "the work, that GOD has entrusted to each of us,

Beloved Brethren?"

Doesn't 2nd Corrinthians 4:13-15 make it abundantly clear by saying:

And since we have the same SPIRIT of FAITH, according to what is written, "I  Believed and therefore I spoke," we also Believe and therefore speak, knowing that   HE Who raised up The LORD JESUS,

will also raise us up with JESUS, and present us with you.

For   all things are for your sakes, that   GRACE, having spread through the many, may cause Thanksgiving to abound to The GLORY of GOD.

[And isn't that, Beloved, why we were each created?"

For The GLORY of GOD?"

          Yes, absolutely! 💯

And isn't, that, why GOD'S LIVING WORD, "teaches us to walk in obedience to CHRIST."

Because, HE, JESUS, "is"

The WORD of The LIVING GOD, and, The One, Whom we call, LORD, and, GOD,  "by our obedience to The WORD of GOD!"

For this reason, 1st John 1:7 gives us this direction to walk in:

But if we walk in The LIGHT,  as HE is in The LIGHT,  we have fellowship with one another, and The BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST  HIS  SON  cleanses us from all sin.

[The BLOOD of CHRIST,

Cleanses us, "The BODY of CHRIST," from all unrighteousness."

 Yes, "The BLOOD of CHRIST,  "cleanse us who Believe" in HIS finished work of The Cross, that washed us of our sins!"]     

 "We are cleansed from All sin!"

And, GOD, not willing that any should perish, desires to do this for everyone."

But because most of humanity, resists the authority of GOD,

they vehemently refuse to embrace HIS WORD, and resort to denying HIS existence."

              But why?

Well, because preferring the ways of darkness,  they deny The LIGHT of men, that would make them free, and lead them to RIGHTEOUSNESS."

But GOD, aware of the schemes of men, and the excuses that they try and hide behind. 

Gives us this WORD, from Romans 1:20, saying:

For since the creation of the world    HIS invisible attributes are clearly seen by the things that are made, even HIS eternal POWER and

GOD-HEAD, so that they are without excuse.

[So does the atheist, have any excuse to hide behind, Beloved?"

        Absolutely not!" 💯

Yet, to us, "who have been reconciled"  by The BLOOD of CHRIST.

Romans 5:10-11 speaks to us, saying:

For   if when we were enemies   we were reconciled to GOD by the death of HIS Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be SAVED  by HIS  LIFE. 

And not only that, but we also   rejoice in GOD through our LORD JESUS CHRIST,  through Whom we have also recieved the reconciliation.

["Brethren,

Isn't it true, that GOD'S WORD, "is LIGHT?  And that in HIM," JESUS CHRIST,  there is no darkness?

And isn't true, that "The LIGHT expose the darkness?"

                  Yes?

Well, John 1:7-10 reveals that JESUS CHRIST,  "is, The LIGHT" that shines in the darkness, though the darkness does not comprehend it.

But we who comprehend, and understand GOD'S LIVING WORD.

Know  that GOD, sent forth a witness, giving testimony of HIM, that all might Believe.'

Thus, John 1:7 reveals that:

This man came for a witness, to bear witness of The LIGHT,  that all through HIM might Believe.

[Brethren,

The LORD desires for all to "Believe HIS WORD, and come to know HIM."

For it's only, by knowing The TRUTH, that mankind can be set men free!"

And so, JESUS,  having come to set the captive free."

Desires for all to know HIM, and then, put HIM;

"where HE belongs -  FIRST!"

                  FIRST?"

 This is why John 1:1 reads:

In the beginning was The WORD, and The WORD was with GOD,  and The WORD was GOD."

HE was in the beginning with GOD. All things were made through HIM, and without HIM  nothing was made that was made."  In HIM was LIFE, and The LIFE was The LIGHT of men."

          [Did you catch that?]

 In HIM, JESUS CHRIST,  was LIFE."

So, "The WORD Of GOD, Beloved,  is our LIFE,"  and The LIGHT of men.]

Thus, John 1:5 continues by saying:

And The LIGHT shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it."

["Right,  The LIGHT shines on those who are in darkness. "But sadly," preferring the darkness, they cannot comprehend The LIGHT of GOD."

So the following verse, continues by saying this about John the Baptist:

He was not that LIGHT,  but was sent to bear witness of that LIGHT. That was the true LIGHT which gives LIGHT to every man coming into the world.

HE was in the world, and the world was made through HIM, and the world did not know HIM.

      ["Did you catch that?"]

The world was made through HIM,  JESUS CHRIST,  but the "unbelieving" world,🌎 rejects HIM, and does not care to know HIM!" 😔😥😟

Nonetheless, The WORD of GOD will abide forever, and continues by saying:

HE came to HIS Own, and HIS Own did not recieve HIM.

[JESUS CHRIST, came to HIS  Own countrymen - the Jews."

But they did not recieve HIM."

They preferred to have a murderer," named, Barabbas, to go free."

Yet, The LORD, knowing that their eye's were veiled, and that because of it; they would reject HIM.

Willingly, laid down HIS LIFE, for you, and me."

And for everyone, who would embrace HIM, and Believe in GOD'S WORD!"

For nobody killed HIM, and took HIS LIFE."

For John 10:18 assures us of this, by saying:

No one takes it from ME,  but I lay it down of MYSELF.

I   have POWER to lay it down, and I have POWER to take it again.

This command I have recieved from MY FATHER."

[Brethren,

Knowing, that today, we are children of GOD.

John 1:12 encourages us, by saying:

But as many as recieved HIM, to them HE gave the right to become children of GOD, to those who Believe in HIS NAME;  who were BORN,  not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of GOD."

 [This is," Beloved, who we are!"]

"BORN AGAIN," children of The LIVING GOD.

And we are, today,  HIS  witnesses!"

But in The LORD'S day, John the Baptist, was HIS witness.

And so, John 1:15 says, that:

John bore witness of HIM and cried out, saying, "This was HE of Whom I said,  'HE Who comes after me,  is preferred before me, for HE was before me.'

"And of HIS   fullness we have all recieved, and GRACE for GRACE.

For the Law was given through Moses, but GRACE and TRUTH came through JESUS CHRIST."

["Brethren,

"GRACE, and TRUTH,  is what we ourselves recieved, when we humbled ourselves to The WORD of The LIVING GOD - JESUS CHRIST.

And when we did, we embraced the gift offered to us, of Everlasting LIFE!"

Through our obedience to repent of our sins, and trust in the finished work of The Cross of CHRIST, for the remission of sins. "We came to know HIM, "Whom," doubting Thomas, referred to, in John 20:28, "As,"  [my LORD, and, my GOD!']

So isn't coming to know, JESUS,

the very best thing, that has ever happened to us?"

            Absolutely!" 💯

Surely, "it's the same for many around the world!"

And because it is, "the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947 is the greatest archaeological find of the 20th century.

"Heck,  it's the best find  ever!"

Those ancient writings, hidden in the caves near Qumran, are the oldest known copies of Old Testament manuscripts."

Amazingly, during the past 2,000 years, The Hebrew writings have been preserved, and remain unchanged."

          Coincidence?

         "Absolutely not!" 

For everyone who Believes that The BIBLE,  is The eternal, and unchanging WORD Of GOD."  

Will find no coincidence, in its preservation."

Psalm 119:89-91 assures us of this, by saying:

“Forever, O LORD,  YOUR WORD 

is settled in HEAVEN.

YOUR  FAITHFULNESS endures to all generations;”  YOU established the earth, and it abides.

They continue this day according to YOUR ordinances,

For all are YOUR servants.

[And in Mathew 24:35

The LORD gives this affirmative promise:

HEAVEN and Earth will pass away, but “MY WORDS will by no means pass away.”

[Brethren,

I pray that all would know, that

The BIBLE is more than a historical relic."

               Much more!"

For "The WORD of GOD" - JESUS CHRIST,  "is LIVING, and POWERFUL,"  and sharper than any two-edged SWORD!

[And to refuse to embrace the gift 🎁 of Everlasting LIFE, that ,JESUS, HIMSELF,  is offering;

       "Who can afford?"

              Not me!" 

"So knowing that we have become partakers of CHRIST. 

Hebrews 3:14-19 gives us this admonition, by saying:

For we have become partakers of CHRIST  if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,

while it is said:  "Today, if you will hear HIS VOICE, 

Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion."

For who, having heard, rebellled?

Indeed, was it not all who came out of Egypt, led by Moses?    

Now with whom was HE angry forty years?

Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness?   

And to whom did HE swear that they would not enter HIS  rest,  but to those who did not obey?

So we can see  that they could not enter in  because of   Unbelief."

[So what was it, Beloved, that proved the people's failure," to Believe GOD?

What proved their   Unbelief?"🤔

Wasn't it, their disobedience?"

So Hebrews 4:11-13  admonishes each of us,  to be dillingent  to enter the rest,  that GOD has prepared for us who LOVE ❤️ HIM."

It reads:

Let us therefore be dillingent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall to that same example of disobedience. For The WORD Of GOD is LIVING and POWERFUL, and SHARPER than any two-edged SWORD, piercing even to the division of SOUL and SPIRIT, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

And there is no creature hidden from HIS SIGHT, but all things are naked and open to HIM  to Whom we must give account.

[And since we all, must give an account to GOD, "because we have become partakers of CHRIST."

"Isn't every Soul,"  really, and truly,  precious to GOD?"

And because every Soul, is most certainly, precious to GOD.

Who is, JESUS, sending to fight for the Soul's of men?

Isn't it, every BORN AGAIN, child of GOD, that is an ambassador for CHRIST? "

[And to whom, did GOD, "swear,"

that they would not enter HIS  rest?

Wasn't it, to those, who did not obey GOD'S WORD?"
