The work of GOD, is SALVATION.

Brethren,
Throughout my brief time in Ministry, I've come across a large group of people, who claim that they're not afraid of death. They claim, that they wouldn't mind losing their LIFE."
Just then, I ask them": Would you sell one of your eye's, for ten million dollars?"
"No, no I wouldn't, most respond!" Then, I ask: "What about, both your eye's, for ten billion dollars? 🤔
Would you sell them, I ask?" Considering being totally blind, they quickly, reply: "Absolutely not!"
I then, say to them: If you wouldn't sell your eye's because they're so precious to you. "Valuable to you." How much more is your LIFE worth to you? And you say, that you don't care if you lose it?" That you're not afraid of losing the most precious thing we have? Our LIFE!" Loosing it?" Yes, isn't that what they're in essence, saying?
Brethren,
By knowing that the work of GOD, on earth, is SALVATION." We can be absolutely certain, that The LORD of GLORY, is seeking FAITH on the earth, so that every Believer, would share HIS story." For it's because one Believes The WORD of The LIVING GOD, that one can take heed to what Acts 17:30-31 clearly advises everyone. Consider how it reads: 'Truly, these times of ignorance GOD overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because HE has appointed a day on which HE will judge the world in RIGHTEOUSNESS by the Man Whom HE has ordained. HE has given assurance of this to all by raising HIM from the dead."
Brethren,
Knowing that repentance can only come through FAITH; I'd like us to
consider the prophet Jonah, and Nahum.
Consider this,
The book of Jonah has the makings of a great movie plot. It contains a runaway prophet, a terrible storm at sea, and the prophet getting swallowed by a large fish, GOD sparing the prophet’s LIFE, and the repentance of a pagan city. A pagan city?" Yes, a pagan and Idolatrous city, who Believed GOD'S WORD and message." And because they did, they repented of their sin!"
And in Jonah’s sequel, the book of Nahum. A book that's not to popular because Nahum ministers judgement to Nineveh, just as Jonah would do 100 years later. But on this occasion, the Ninevites had no interest in repentance. And because they didn't, but the fact that GOD cannot be mocked, but whatsoever a man sows, that he will also reap. The prophet Nahum condemned Nineveh, and proclaimed judgment on the people.
To the "unrepentant" people of Nineveh, who wouldn't turn fron doing the will and desires of the devil. The prophet preached: “The LORD is slow to anger and GREAT in POWER, and will not at all acquit the wicked.”
Nahum was warning the people of GOD’S Judgement. "So in Nahum 1:8-15 GOD’S Judgement continued, by saying: But with an overflowing flood
HE will make an utter end of its place,
And darkness will pursue HIS enemies.
And what do you conspire against The LORD?
HE will make an utter end of it.
Affliction will not rise up a second time. For while tangled like thorns,
And while drunken like drunkards,'
They shall be devoured like stubble fully dried.
From you comes forth one who plots evil against The LORD,
A wicked counselor.
Thus says The LORD: "Though they are safe, and likewise many,
Yet in this manner they will be cut down when HE passes through.
Though I have afflicted you,
I will afflict you no more.
For now I will break off his yoke from you,
And burst your bonds apart."
The LORD has given a command concerning you:
"Your name shall be perpetuated no longer. Out of the house of your gods
I will cut off the carved image and the molded image.
I will dig your grave,
For you are vile."
[Did you catch that? In The Eye's of The LORD, "idol worshipers are vile!"
But then The LORD mentions this]: Behold, on the mountains the feet of him who brings GOOD NEWS, Who proclaims PEACE.
O Judah, keep your appointed feasts, perform your vows.
For the wicked one shall no more pass through you;
He is utterly cast off.
But to the people who Trusted in GOD, Nahum also had a message of MERCY. Yes, Nahum spoke WORDS that would comfort the people of Judah, he proclaimed: “The LORD is GOOD, a STRONGHOLD in the day of trouble; and HE knows those who Trust in HIM.”
Yes, through Nahum 1:7, GOD’S WORD has this to say: The LORD is GOOD,
A STRONGHOLD in the Day of trouble;
And HE knows everyone who Trusts in HIM.
Brethren,
We see in the stories of Jonah and Nahum, that with every new generation comes the necessity of an individuals response to The WORD of The LIVING GOD.
No one’s "SPIRITUAL LIFE" can be handed off to another." I can't Believe for you, nor can anybody else!"
Everyone must individually, make the choice to embrace to The WORD of GOD. And then, we must choose to serve HIM, fearing," praying, that we wouldn't hear the WORDS from Mathew 25:26-29 spoken directly to us because of our devotion to GOD. Let me share them with you, and get your thoughts on them.
Consider how it reads: "But his LORD answered and said to him, "You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. So you ought to have deposited MY money with the bankers, and at MY coming I would have recieved back MY Own with interest. Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents. "For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. And cast the unprofitable servant into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
What do you think, Beloved Brethren?" Scary?
Well then, now consider Malachi 3:16-18, and how The WORD of The LIVING GOD," has this to say to each of us": Then those who feared The LORD spoke to one another, and The LORD listened and heard them;
So a book of rememberance was written before HIM
For those who fear The LORD
And who meditate on HIS NAME.
Yes, we meditate on The NAME, that's above all name's." The Only NAME given under HEAVEN, Beloved, by which we must be SAVED." The NAME of
"JESUS!"
Brethren,
GOD’S message of Everlasting LIFE," is as fresh today, as it was hundreds of years ago: "Judgment" for the "unrepentant," but MERCY and GRACE, for those who acknowledge that on The Cross, CHRIST The LORD, took our place. The LORD went to great lengths to SAVE us, Beloved Brethren!
And by acknowledging that The LORD didn't deserve to die that way. We can see why 2nd Corrinthians 5:21 has this to say: For HE made HIM Who knew no sin to be made sin for us, that we might become the RIGHTEOUSNESS of GOD in HIM.
HE took our place, Beloved Brethren."
The place of the guilty!" So that once we came to know the TRUTH, we would be set free!"
So tell as many would listen, Beloved, and pray that the world will respond to The LORD'S invitation of Everlasting LIFE!"
JESUS
