Brethren,

With everything that’s happening in Ukraine and in the entire world today, surely we can each see that the time of the Rapture of the Church is at hand, and our LORD‘s calling us into the clouds, is drawing near?

And because it is, we each need to be anticipating the time that our LORD calls us out of here.

Consider Revelation 11:12 and how the event is portrayed to happen.🤔 It reads like this: “And they heard a loud voice from HEAVEN saying to them, "Come up here" and they ascended to HEAVEN in a cloud, and their enemies saw them.”

Does that help you put this event into perspective?

Yes?

Well, now I ask you: Who are the enemies spoken of here?

Isn't everyone who hates GOD, considered an enemy of GOD?

It most certainly is!

And because they are, they are our enemies also.

With that said, what will take place in JERUSALEM once we depart?

Well, Revelation 11:13 describes it like this: “In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave GLORY to the GOD of HEAVEN.”

Brethren,

Knowing that our REDEMPTION is drawing near, and that we will soon be out of here; I ask each of us to examine ourselves, to see if we have the same mindset of the apostle Paul, who looked forward to the Rapture of the Church, and would've LOVED our LORD's appearing.

Consider 2 Timothy 4:8 and how this passage reveals this by saying: “Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of RIGHTEOUSNESS, which the LORD, the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have LOVED HIS appearing.”

Does that declaration describe you, Beloved?

I pray that it does, and that we would each consider this WORD from 2 Corinthians 13:5-6.

Consider how it reads: “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the FAITH. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that JESUS CHRIST is in you? - unless indeed you are disqualified. But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified.”

And now for each of our good, I point you to the following SCRIPTURE from 2 Corinthians 13:7-8.

Please consider how The LORD is speaking to each of us by saying🤔: “Now I pray to GOD that you do no evil, not that we should appear approved, but that you should do what is honorable, though we may seem disqualified. For we can do nothing against the TRUTH, but for the TRUTH.”

Brethren,

Can we all agree, in order to make sure that our physical health is doing well, we should each have a physical once a year?

For in order to be in prime physical condition, we each need a periodic visit to the doctor’s office, to be screened and studied.

I know that many fear going to the doctor’s office but within the pages of the BIBLE, three hundred and sixty five times, the LORD instructs us not to fear. For even though we can't be sure what the tests will show, or what the doctor will say.

We each need this evaluation, in order to understand our physical well-being and what it is that's required to be healthy.

Brethren,

The same is true SPIRITUALLY in the LIFE of every CHRIST-follower. We need to pause from time to time and reflect on the condition of our hearts and lives. Yes, we need to examine ourselves regularly, to see if we are in the FAITH. And one place for an important "self-study" is at the LORD’s Table.

Paul wrote to the Corinthians, some of whom were eating in a very unworthy manner. The LORD, through the apostle Paul, said: “Let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.” In the remembrance of our LORD's death, burial, and RESURRECTION, there can be a sobering reminder of sins, and how our LORD was Gracious to us, in going the way of the Cross, in order to REDEEM us, and bring us in.

Yes, into the sheepfold!

And because we have been REDEEMED and brought into the sheepfold, we now hear the VOICE of our GOOD SHEPHERD, saying what John 10:11-15 clearly speaks, and declares: "I AM The GOOD SHEPHERD. The GOOD SHEPHERD gives HIS LIFE for the sheep. But a hireling, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. I AM The GOOD SHEPHERD; and I know MY sheep, and am known by MY Own. As The FATHER knows ME, even so I know The FATHER; and I lay down MY LIFE for the sheep.”

Brethren,

Hearing The WORD of GOD should give us each clarity of thought and understanding. For as we consider the price our LORD paid for us on the Cross, it should make us consider the condition of our heart and our relationship with HIM, and one another. Then, with honest understanding of our SPIRITUAL condition, we can turn to HIM for the GRACE we need to move forward in HIS NAME.

Yes, to move forward to embrace our calling to preach The GOSPEL, and to be bold, and not ashamed. For the RIGHTEOUS, Psalm 28:1 assures us, “are bold as a lion, but the wicked flee when no one is pursuing them."

Why?

Because they are to afraid to do what The LORD is sending us to do.

They are among the cowardly, who are clearly mentioned in Revelation 21:8.

But the let me share 21:7-8 with you, and get your thoughts. Consider how it reads: “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his GOD and he shall be MY Son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

Brethren,

Is it time for your SPIRITUAL checkup?

I believe that it is!

For the coming of the LORD is at hand!
