It is appointed for men to die once, and after this the judgement.

Brethren,
In 2018, my older brother was dying from cancer and wanted to make things right between him and our father. Due to SPIRITUAL matters, he was at odds with me though I had been his very best friend in bringing him to CHRIST.
You see, because of his refusal to embrace the TRUTH of the SCRIPTURES that command children to honor their parents, we hadn’t spoken to each other in over a year.
Yet, wanting to resolve the matter, I went to his home to see him. When I arrived, I told him that he still had family that he hadn't spoken to in quite some time.
Yet, when I looked into his face, I saw that unless the LORD had other plans, he would soon go into eternity having bad feelings between him and his father.
However, nonetheless, I knew he wanted to resolve the matter and make things right with our Dad. So I reached out to our father and asked him if he would accompany me to see his eldest son.
I did this so that he might take my brothers hand and say, “I forgive you, son! Will you also, forgive me?”
I wanted my brother to be at peace with everyone! But much more so, with him who GOD commands us to honor.
Yes, to honor, even as we are to do the same with our mother. So after going to see my older brother just as I was leaving, he shouted, “see you soon!"
After him say those words, I remember thinking: Is the LORD telling me something through my beloved brother?
For shortly after meeting with our father, he went HOME to be with the LORD!
Brethren,
Because the SCRIPTURES declare, that it is appointed for men once to die, and after this the judgement.
I know that every last one of us will one day stand in the PRESENCE of our LORD. And HE will either recieve us with joy or we will hear HIM say: “Depart from ME, I never knew you!"
Let me share Hebrews 9: 27-28 and get your thoughts on it.
Consider how it reads: “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgement, so CHRIST was offered once to bear the sins of many.”
[Did you catch that?]
"To bear the sins of many."
[Did you notice it did not say, All.]
But why not, All?
Well, because unfortunately not all will believe and turn from doing the will and desires of the devil.
Thus, Hebrews 9: 28 continues by saying: “So CHRIST was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for HIM HE will appear a second time, apart from sin, for SALVATION."
[Apart from sin?] [Why apart from sin?]
Well, because our sins were taken away at the Cross and are no longer counted against us. And thus, Romans 8:1-4 has this to say: “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in CHRIST JESUS, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the SPIRIT.”
In other words, who do not walk agreeing with our flesh that wants to do the will and desires of the devil. But we walk in agreement with the WORD of the LIVING GOD. Right!
For if we didn't, we could not walk with GOD.
Why?
Well, because Amos 3:3 asks us this question, saying: “Can two walk together unless they are agreed?"
You see, we could not walk with GOD unless we first agree with HIS WORD.
So Romans 8:2 continues by saying: “For the law of the SPIRIT of LIFE in CHRIST JESUS has made me free of the law of sin and death.
[And what law is that?]
It is the Ten commandments which we've all broken.
So GOD'S WORD continues by saying: “For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, GOD did by sending HIS Own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: HE condemned sin in the flesh, that the RIGHTEOUS requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the SPIRIT.
Yes, Beloved, we agree with the SPIRIT of the LIVING GOD. And because we do, Beloved, we consider closely GOD'S WORD that speaks to us as Son's.
Consider Proverbs 4:20-27, and how our FATHER speaks to us, saying: “MY son, give attention to MY WORDS;
Incline your ear to MY sayings.
Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart;
For they are LIFE to those who find them,
And health to all their flesh.
Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it springs the issues of LIFE. Put away from you a deceitful mouth,
And put perverse lips far from you.
Let your eye's look straight ahead,
And your eyelids look right before you. Ponder the path of your feet,
And let your ways be established.
Do not turn to the right or the left;
Remove your feet from evil.”
What an amazing piece of SCRIPTURE, that gives us good advice. Wouldn't you say?!
Well, because we believe, and LOVE the TRUTH Of GOD’S WORD. Romans 8:28-33 has this to say: “And we know that all things work together for GOOD to those who LOVE GOD, to those who are called according to HIS purpose. And knowing, before the foundation of the world, whom would believe the TRUTH of HIS WORD.
GOD continues by saying: “For whom HE foreknew, HE also predestined to be conformed to the image of HIS Son, that HE might be the FIRSTBORN among many brethren. Moreover whom HE predestined, these HE also called; whom HE called, these HE also JUSTIFIED; and whom HE JUSTIFIED, these HE also GLORIFIED.
What then shall we say to these things? If GOD is for us, who can be against us? HE who did not spare HIS Own Son, but delivered HIM up for us all, how shall HE not with HIM, freely give us all things?”
With that said, would you agree that GOD is simply AMAZING and HIS ways past finding out?
Surely HE is!
And I praise HIM, for calling us out of darkness and into HIS Marvelous LIGHT. Yes, so that we would be about HIS business.
For the SCRIPTURE says: “Many are called but few are chosen.”
Yet, who can be chosen, who doesn't first respond to GOD'S calling, to pick up HIS harvest?
For in Mathew 9:35 GOD'S WORD gives us each this report.
Consider how it reads: “Then JESUS went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the GOSPEL of the KINGDOM, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when HE saw the multitudes, HE was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then HE said to HIS disciples, [to us] the harvest is truly plentiful, but the laborers are few.”
Therefore pray the LORD of the harvest to send out laborers into HIS harvest.
And that means you, beloved!
Even as that also, means yours Truly!
So Brethren,
Would you agree that having the knowledge of Everlasting LIFE, is of the upmost importance?
I am convinced that it is!
Thus, the LORD speaks these WORDS in Hosea 4:6, saying: “MY people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. But because so many people reject the knowledge that comes from the WORD of the LIVING GOD. The LORD continues by saying: “Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for ME; because you have forgotten the law of your GOD, [Because they forgot the law of GOD, that was given by The WORD of the LIVING GOD. HE exclaimed, saying]: I also will forget your children.”
So please, Beloved, don't forget that our LORD has entrusted us with the GOSPEL to speak, not as pleasing men, but GOD who is testing our hearts to GLORIFY HIM.
JESUS ✞
