I and MY FATHER are ONE.
Brethren,
"Do you recall reading the astounding events in chapter two, "of the book of Job?" What surprised me the most from this chapter, "was the reaction of Job's wife.
Consider the astounding events, and please consider, how you personally, would respond, if you were in their shoes." 🤔
The story begins like this: Again there was a day when the sons of GOD came to present themselves before The LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before The LORD. And The LORD said to Satan, "From where do you come?"
Satan answered The LORD and said, "From going to and fro on the earth, And from walking back and forth on it." Then The LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered MY servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears GOD and shuns evil. And still he holds fast to his integrity, although you incited ME against him, to destroy him without cause." So Satan answered The LORD and said, "Skin for skin!
Yes, all that a man has he will give for his LIFE. But stretch out YOUR HAND now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will surely curse YOU to YOUR FACE!"
And The LORD said to Satan, "Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his LIFE."
So Satan went out from the Presence of The LORD, and struck Job with painful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head. And he took for himself a potsherd with which to scrape himself while he sat in the midst of the ashes.
Then his wife said to him,
"Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse GOD, and die!"
[That’s, the reaction, Beloved, that I am referring to!." "Astounding, that someone who believes in the "GOODNESS of GOD," would react that way."]
But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish women speaks.
Shall we indeed accept good from GOD, and shall we not accept adversity? In all this Job did not sin with his lips.
[Brethren,
Job, did not do, as the powers of darkness," would have the whole of humanity, do!" For they want all to curse GOD, as they have already cursed!" The powers of darkness, want everyone to do, as they do."
But a man of integrity, Beloved, one, who like, Job, LOVES, GOD, and fears HIM." Will not blame GOD, for what the devil has himself, brought upon them."
The book of, Job, assures us that Job, didn't blame, GOD, nor curse HIM."
Even after chapter 1 of Job, tells us, that Job, lost his children, his health, and every last one, of his possessions."
[I thought about this, when
a certain Believer, asked, if it’s possible to prepare oneself to face personal loss." Personal loss, I asked?" Yes, like the death of a loved one, he said."
He knew an answer would come, "but how can one ever be prepared for the outcome?" “We’re never as prepared for the loss of a loved one, as we might think we are.” Death, Beloved, has a way of testing our relationship with GOD, and everything we profess to Believe." Personally speaking,
I know that my, mom, grieved deeply for her son, my older Brother, but never resorted to anger or criticism of GOD, because she always felt that GOD’S "WORD" and SPIRIT, were, are, and will always, be." What sustains her." Even, as The WORD of The LIVING GOD, sustains each of us, Beloved!"
But getting back to the book of Job." Ten children, were born to Job and his wife." Satan, being keenly aware of this, "asked GOD, to allow his hand to test the integrity of Job." And so, Job 1:9-22, teaches on the FAITHFULNESS of Job. Consider how it reads": And The LORD said to Satan, all that HE has in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person."
So Satan went out from the Presence of The LORD.
And there was a day when his sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their older brothers house, a messenger came to Job and said; "The oxen were plowing, and the donkeys feeding beside them, when the Sabeans raided them and took them away - indeed they have killed the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to tell you. While he was still speaking, another came also and said, the Chaldeans formed three bands came, raided the camels and took them away, yes, and killed the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to tell you."
While he was still speaking, another also came and said, "Your sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their order brothers house, and suddenly a great wind came from across the wilderness and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell on the young people, and they are dead; and I alone have escaped to tell you.
Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. And he said, naked I came from my mothers womb,
And naked shall I return there.
The LORD gave, and The LORD has taken away; Blessed be The NAME of The LORD."
In all this Job did not sin nor charge GOD with wrong.
[Brethren,
In the good times of our LIFE, it's easy to be well pleased with our surroundings, and with the "GOODNESS of GOD." But what about in our difficult times?"🤔
Surely, our daily fellowship with GOD, prepares us for the difficulties times ahead?"
And knowing that they will come, we would each do well, to take heed of how respond to GOD'S calling on our lives."
Yes, to respond with a sincere desire to serve, and "GLORIFY" The NAME of JESUS." The Son of The LIVING GOD!"
Brethren,
We have each been called by GOD, and entrusted with The GOSPEL of HIS Son, to speak!"
Yes, to speak, not as pleasing men, but GOD, Who is testing our hearts. And because HE is testing our hearts. We know that the test, is come!"
But because we know, that GOD is for us." We know, that HE is with us in a way, that we never could’ve imagined, when we were outside of fellowship with HIM, and had absolutely no desire, to GLORIFY HIM."
But because we are now in fellowship with HIM, we know not to complain against HIM, nor even, consider, cursing HIS "GLORIOUS" NAME!
Far be it, Beloved," for any member of The BODY of CHRIST," to complain against GOD, "Who didn't complain against us; when "HE suffered," and gave HIS Son, for us, on The Cross."
Do you remember how HE assured us, saying: I and MY FATHER are ONE."🤔 'Do you remember?"
AMEN?"
JESUS
