GOD is seeking true worshipers."
Brethren,
Jnowing that 2nd Timothy 3:1-5 gives us each, GOD'S admonition. Allow me to run it by you again, so that it's fresh in our minds. It reads :
"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure, rather than lovers of GOD, having a form of Godliness but denying its POWER. And from such people turn away!"
[Is that instruction, clear enough for us to understand, and to abide by?" That we stay clear of anything, or anyone, that is an enemy of The Cross of CHRIST?"
I pray, that it is," because we are to strictly abide by our LORD'S instructions. And HIS instruction, is abundantly clear through Philippians 3:18-21 where HE had the apostle Paul, write:
For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even in tears, that they are the enemies of The Cross Of CHRIST; whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame - who set their minds on earthly things."
For our citizenship is in HEAVEN, from which we also eagerly wait for The SAVIOR, The LORD JESUS CHRIST, Who will transform our earthly body that it might be conformed to HIS GLORIOUS BODY, according to the working by which HE is able even to subdue all things to HIMSELF."
[And because HE is able, I ask you to consider Daniel 12:2 and to keep in mind, that many have fallen asleep in these latter days. And I pray that none would awake to less than, what they truly wished for.
Because Daniel 12:2 reads : And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth Shall awake, "Some to Everlasting LIFE," Some to shame and everlasting contempt."
[Brethren,
Everlasting contempt, and shame, is not something that anyone wishes to awaken to. Isn't that right, Beloved?
Consider this, some time ago, a certain gentleman pointedly told me, not to wear my hat with The Cross on it." He angrily said, that The Cross is an instrument of torture and of death, where JESUS was murdered!'
But that's not what The BIBLE teaches.
In John 10:17-18 The LORD, HIMSELF, says:
"Therefore MY FATHER LOVES ME, because I lay down MY LIFE that I may take it again. No one takes it from ME, but I lay it down of MYSELF. I have POWER to lay it down, and I have POWER to take it again. This command I have recieved from MY FATHER."
[Brethren,
The LORD chose The Cross, as an instrument of REDEMPTION, not of torture and death." Even though many Marty's have suffered and died on a cross."✝️
But The Cross of CHRIST, and of Calvary, was chosen as an instrument of REDEMPTION."
Yes, REDEMPTION for everyone who Believes in the finished work that GOD’S Son accomplished on it."
REDEMPTION for everyone who Believes The GOSPEL of CHRIST.
Let me share it with you and get your thoughts on it.
1st Corrinthians 15:1-4 reveals it like this : Moreover, Brethren, I declare to you The GOSPEL which I preached to you, which also you recieved and in which you stand, by which also you are SAVED, if you hold fast that WORD which I preached to you - unless you Believed in vain.
For I delivered to you first of all that which I also recieved: that CHRIST died for our sins according to The SCRIPTURES, and that HE was buried, and that HE rose again the third day according to The Scriptures.
[Brethren,
Before The LORD'S followers had even a faint idea that HE would die on The Cross, HE spoke of The Cross, saying, that HE would be lifted up," even as Moses lifted up a serpent in the wilderness."
John 3:14-17 reveals this, by saying: And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must The SON of Man be lifted up, that whoever Believes in HIM should not perish but have Everlasting LIFE."
For GOD so LOVED the world that HE gave HIS only begotten SON, that whoever Believes in HIM should not perish but have Everlasting LIFE." For GOD did not send HIS Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through HIM might be SAVED." He who Believes in HIM is not condemned; but he who does not Believe, is condemned already, because he has not Believed in The Name of The Only begotten SON of GOD."
[Brethren,
GOD'S SON was lifted up on The Cross, for the healing of everyone who would embrace The WORD of The LIVING GOD, as our BOSS."
For JESUS CHRIST, "being The WORD of GOD, and of LIFE." Is, HE, HIMSELF, The WAY unto Everlasting LIFE."
And to everyone, wanting to enter into LIFE,"
HE speaks to, as HIS disciple, saying: “And he who does not take up his Cross and follow after ME, is not worthy of ME.”
With that said, I ask you to consider being in the shoes of The LORD'S closest disciples.
For they each had a picture of the agony, punishment, and misery that bearing The Cross meant." Taking up The Cross meant walking LIFE’S hardest path."
It means LOVING GOD with all our heart, ❤️
and not just half!"
And so, The LORD said in Luke 14:27
"And whoever does not bear his Cross and come after ME cannot be MY disciple."
For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish."
[So we are being asked, Beloved Brethren, "Do we have enough to finish?" To finish? Yes, to finish the race where we run and live for The GLORY of our GOD."
Where we FAITHFULLY share The GOSPEL of CHRIST, HIS Son; without finding it odd!" Do we have enough to finish?
Brethren,
Do you see why The LORD, even today, is promoting The Cross," inviting everyone to take it up, and embrace HIM, as our BOSS?" Can you see it, Beloved, that HE wants us all to enter into LIFE?
Yes?" For even today," The LORD is seeking worshipers who will worship HIM in SPIRIT," and in TRUTH!
Right!" HE is seeking disciples who are willing to face the difficulties that it will take to serve HIS cause; disciples who are willing to lift up HIS NAME, to give HIM Glory, "withstout seeking a pause."
How do we know? Well, because John 4:23 gives us this WORD, saying:
But the hour is coming, and now is when the true worshipers will worship The FATHER in SPIRIT and in TRUTH; for The FATHER is seeking such to worship HIM.
[And after considering, that that time is now; This admonition is given to each of us, saying:
"Many are called, but few are chosen."
And who can be chosen, Beloved, that doesn't respond to GOD'S WORD and calling?"
GOD'S calling to "Take up our Cross," and embrace JESUS, The WORD of The LIVING GOD, "as our BOSS!"
And To obey The WORD, and the will of GOD.
And not the powers of darkness!"
For the time of the True worshipers, is now!"
For Acts 17:30-31 clearly has this WORD to say:
Truly, these times of ignorance GOD overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because HE has appointed a day on which HE will judge the world in RIGHTEOUSNESS by The Man Whom HE has ordained. HE has given assurance of this to all by raising HIM from the dead."
[Brethren,
Even as through Acts 17:30-31 The LORD is giving an admonition to the people of the world; to us, who are HIS children, HE gives these good WORDS of GRACE."
Ephesians 2:4-8 reveals it like this:
But GOD, Who is rich in MERCY, because of HIS GREAT LOVE with which HE LOVED us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with CHRIST (by GRACE you have been SAVED), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the Heavenly places in CHRIST JESUS, that in the ages to come HE might show the exceeding riches of HIS GRACE in HIS KINDNESS toward us in CHRIST JESUS.
For by GRACE you have been SAVED through FAITH, and that not of yourselves; it is the Gift of GOD.
[And how do you feel now, after recieving The Gift of GOD, Beloved Brethren?"
Happy?" Joyful? At PEACE?
