After reading John 15:13 that reads: Greater LOVE has no one than this, than to lay down one's LIFE for HIS friends.
[Would you agree that this passage of SCRIPTURE, reveals the greatest LOVE of All?" A LOVE, with which GOD, would have us LOVE one another? To LOVE eachother, as GOD, has LOVED us?"
If so, "I'd like you to bring to memory, the apostle John. Do you remember how he referred to himself, as "the disciple whom JESUS LOVED?" Yes? Well, I am convinced that because John was so aware of The LORD'S LOVE for him. As he grew older, his teachings became increasingly "narrowed," focusing entirely on The LOVE Of GOD.
John's three letters expound on a LOVE so deep and true; that surely, GOD meant it, exclusively, for me and you." Yes, and for everyone who Believes, and recieves HIS WORD, in TRUTH."
Of John's three letters, the one that most drew my attention. Was the first." Specifically, 1st John 4:20.
"Let me share it with you, and get your thoughts on it." It reads like this: If someone says, "I LOVE GOD," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not LOVE his brother whom he has seen, how can he LOVE GOD Whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from HIM: that he who LOVES GOD must LOVE his brother also.
I understand that the disciple John, knew profoundly, the depths of GOD'S LOVE for him. And because he did, he couldn’t stop talking about HIS LOVE for him." I imagine him having a a young disciple, who comes complaining to him, asking, “Why don’t you talk about anything else?” And John, replying, “Because there isn’t anything else!”
And without trying to out do, the apostle John, I assure you, that I personally, have also been asked that question.
In each of my conversations, I'm always looking for opportunities to share "JESUS CHRIST, and HIS finished work of The Cross, with people I meet.
Well, because I understand that the whole "Law of GOD," is entirely summed up in this." Mathew 22:37-40 reveals it, saying: "You shall LOVE The LORD your GOD with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: 'You shall LOVE your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.
Many often ask themselves; "Who is my neighbor?" And isn't our neighbor, "every last person," whom The LORD has placed around us? Yes, absolutely." For HE desires, for all to hear "The GOSPEL of PEACE."
"The GOSPEL of PEACE?"
Yes, The GOSPEL of the finished work of The Cross of CHRIST, for the remission of sins. For when we heard, and Believed GOD'S report. "It moved us, Beloved, to recieve CHRIST. And made us, friends of GOD. Yes, friends, Beloved, and no longer enemies!"
"Thus, The LOVE of GOD, that revealed The GOSPEL, has made us to have "PEACE with GOD."
"So would you agree, Beloved, that "GOD'S LOVE" is at the very heart ❤️ of the message, that HE is relaying to the world? Yes?" And didn't HE prove already, just how great HIS LOVE, is," by the death of The Cross, of HIS Son. ✝️
Yes, the finished work of The Cross of CHRIST, revealed "GOD'S LOVE," and LIGHT, to a world that was born in darkness." Absolutely, Beloved, it does!"
For in his earlier gospel account, John recorded these WORDS from John 3:16, “For GOD so LOVED the world that HE gave HIS only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES" in HIM should not perish but have EVERLATING "LIFE.”
And then, in John 3:17 he added:
For GOD did not send HIS Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through HIM might be SAVED.
[Beloved, that passage of SCRIPTURE could've also, been written like this; For GOD so LOVED the world, that HE gave HIS only begotten "WORD - [JESUS,] that whoever BELIEVES in The TRUTH of HIS WORD - [JESUS], shall not perish but have EVERLASTING
For GOD did not send HIS WORD - [JESUS] into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through FAITH in HIS WORD - [JESUS] might be SAVED.
"Yes, Beloved, "AMEN!"
For our LORD, JESUS CHRIST," is The "LIFE-GIVING" WORD Of GOD, that created everything, and gave to each of us, LIFE!" And it's GOD'S WORD," Beloved, "that SAVED us, when we Believed The GOSPEL of our SALVATION, and turned from walking in darkness."
Let me share it with you.:
1st Corrinthians 15:1-4 reveals The GOSPEL, and "LIFE-GIVING" WORD of GOD, like this: Moreover, Brethren, I declare to you The GOSPEL which I preached to you, which also you recieved and in which you stand, by which also you are SAVED, if you hold fast that WORD which I preached to you - unless you Believed in vain.
For I delivered to you first of all that which I also recieved: that CHRIST died for our sins according to The SCRIPTURES.
[And, Beloved, The WORD of The LIVING GOD," which is, "GOD HIMSELF; Assures us, that it's impossible for GOD, to lie."
[So everyone, who does not Believe HIS WORD; "Has made GOD, a liar!"]
No wonder Hebrews 11:4 assures us, that "without FAITH," it is impossible to please GOD. And how can anyone please GOD, who makes HIM out to be, a liar? How?"
So GOD assures us, Beloved, that it's by Believing HIS "WORD," that reveals The GOSPEL. That we are SAVED by GRACE, through FAITH, and not by works, lest anyone should boast!"
"Yes, SAVED, unless one Believes in vain?"
Right! "Unless one Believes in vain, that CHRIST died on The Cross, paying entirely for our sins." And that HE was buried, but then, HE rose from the grave on the third day, with Power and Great GLORY, taking our sins away!
That's The GOOD NEWS, Beloved!"
But only, "for one who Believes."
"Personally, I Believe, that it's the
"Best News" ever! And so I'm willing to spend the rest of my LIFE, "proclaiming the finished work of The Cross of CHRIST." And departing from HIM, "never!"The apostle Paul, tells us, Beloved, that our Believing GOD," is at the core of how we live, and it reveals who we really are." For if we truly Believe, "we will shine like a star!"🌟
Like a star?" Yes, absolutely, by preaching The GOSPEL, near and far!"
Consider how Daniel 12:3 reveals it by saying: Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, And those who bring many to RIGHTEOUSNESS,
Like the stars forever and ever.
[Yes, Beloved, "FOREVER!"
And that passage of SCRIPTURE, reminds me of Romans 8:37-39, that reveals," that in all these things we are more than conquerors through HIM Who LOVED us.
For I am persuaded that “neither death nor LIFE, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor anything other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the LOVE of GOD which is in CHRIST JESUS our LORD.”
So The LOVE Of GOD, Beloved, is The SOLID "ROCK," on which we Stand!
You see, GOD is able, Beloved, "to make us stand."
And yes, HE has made us stand,"
