Give thanks to The LORD, for HE is GOOD!

Updated: Sep 13, 2022

Brethren,

I hope and pray, that we are each grateful for the gift of LIFE? Yes? And that we aim to express our gratitude to The GIVER of LIFE; by our obedience to HIS WORD?"

Telling HIM, by our obedience to share The GOSPEL of CHRIST, "how much we appreciate HIS gift."🎁

For isn't the whole reason for saying thanks, be to let The GIVER of a gift, know how much we appreciate HIS gift?"

Well, isn’t it?

"And with that said, Beloved,

"would you agree that silent gratitude, isn’t much gratitude at all?”

Consider this,

Imagine if this was any one of us, needing to be reminded that avoiding eye contact, looking down at our feet, and mumbling words, isn't an unacceptable, “Thank YOU.”

How can anyone be accepted that way?"

Personally speaking, I know that after many years of ministry, I am still learning that it’s important for me to express my gratitude to GOD, for the lives of others." And so, I bid that my words to HIM, be my LIFE of obedience to sharing The GOSPEL of CHRIST.

For I assure you, that that's what overflowing gratitude looks like." Our LOVE, for others."

So much so, that it moves me to share The GOSPEL of CHRIST, with this lost, and dying, world."

For we each ought to strive, that we not be counted, amongst the forgetful hearers."

Yes, the forgetful hearers," that speak harshly against The LORD, our GOD"

"Speak harshly against GOD?"

Yes, by rejecting the sovereignty of HIS WORD, that sends us, the "REDEEMED," to REDEEM the time, and preach The GOSPEL, all the time."

"In season, and out of season," always being prepared, for every good work."

With that, siad; I point you to Malachi 3:12-18 "where our LORD, assures us, that HE wants to rebuke the devourer for our sakes; HIS jewels, that speak favorably towards HIM.

And not to curse anyone's Blessings, for the "inactivity," that does not speak favorably about CHRIST, because of no obedience to share HIS GOSPEL.

"Consider how it reads: "And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,

So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,

Nor shall The VINE fail to bear fruit for you in the field," ["With that said; 'Do you remember HIM, Who, says: I AM The Vine; you are the branches.

"Do you?"]

"Says, The LORD of hosts;

"And all nations will call you Blessed,

For you will be a delightful land,"

Says The LORD of hosts.

[That, Beloved, was an encouraging "WORD" for us who know, that we are to be about our FATHER'S business, that, HE," might Bless us, to bear fruit. And that our fruit, should remain. But to those who refuse, HE, says]:

"Your words have been harsh against ME,"

Says The LORD,

"Yet you say,

'What have we spoken against YOU?'

You have said,

'It is useless to serve GOD;

What profit is it that we have kept HIS ordinance,

And that we have walked as mourners Before The LORD?

So now we call the proud Blessed,

For those who do wickedness are raised up;

They even tempt GOD, and go free.' " [Just then, we who fear The LORD, spoke to one another, and GOD, said]: Then those who feared The LORD spoke to one another, and The LORD listened and heard them; ["Yes, HE hears us!"] So a book of remembrance was written before HIM

For those who fear The LORD

And who meditate on HIS NAME.

"They shall be MINE,"

Says The LORD of hosts,

On the Day that I make them MY jewels. And I will spare them

As a man spares his own son who serves him."

Then you shall again discern Between the RIGHTEOUS and the wicked,

Between one who serves GOD

And one who does not serve HIM.

[Brethren,

Do you Believe, that GOD sees it as wickedness, for one who calls JESUS, LORD; "Not to serve HIM? Especially, after HE first served us, while suffering, and dying for us, on The Cross?"

"Can you now understand, why HE would consider it, as wickedness?"

Consider this,

If we really appreciate, all that GOD, has done for us. "We will show our appreciation by serving HIM; even if we’ve done so, many times before."

And we will continue to do so, because GOD, Blesses us every day."

“And feeling gratitude for a gift, and not expressing it to The GIVER; "is like wrapping a present, and not giving it to the recipient.”

Brethren,

Showing our gratitude is important in human relationships, but it’s far more important in our relationship with GOD.

So I pray, that as we think of our many Blessings, received throughout our days; 'that we express our gratitude to JESUS, Who Blessed us, that we might point others in The WAY." HE made us, Brethren, that live for HIS GLORY."

Romans 8:29 clarifies this, by saying: For whom HE foreknew,

HE also predestined to be conformed to the image of HIS Son, that HE might be the firstborn among many Brethren.

[So, Brethren, when we think of the amazing gift of HIS death on The Cross, HIS burial, and RESURRECTION on the third day, for the forgiveness of our sins."

Do our hearts "bubble over" like a glass of champagne 🍾 with gratitude?

And if not; "I pray, that we, each, Beloved, would respond to GOD'S reminder in Psalm 107:1, and take it to heart each day.

Oh, give thanks to The LORD, for HE is GOOD!"

[And HIS MERCY, Beloved, endures forever."

"FOREVER!"

“O Give thanks to the LORD, for HE is GOOD!”

JESUS
