Don't appear empty-handed.
Brethren,
With a fervent desire for The BODY of CHRIST to heed The WORD of The LIVING GOD;
The LORD, exclaims in Mathew 9:37-38,:
"The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray The LORD of the harvest to send out laborers into HIS harvest."
["With that said, isn't it abundantly clear, that our LORD, Who REDEEMED us with HIS BLOOD,
is sending us out to retrieve what is precious to HIM? The lost Soul's of humanity?
"Isn't it?
So I must ask: "Are we mature enough in the FAITH, to know, and understand, that GOD has SAVED us, and made us ambassadors for CHRIST; so that we would labor for HIM? "Labor for HIM?"
Yes, serve HIM, by preaching The GOSPEL of CHRIST, in order to pick up the harvest?"
Are we mature enough, Beloved?
Yes?
Well, please consider our calling, for our LORD, JESUS, doesn't want us to appear before HIM, empty-handed."
Consider this,"
As the first green heads of grain formed on the spring barley in Israel, workers would tie a ribbon around each budding stem to set them apart from the still immature barley. When this marked grain ripened, it was harvested for the temple in JERUSALEM, because GOD had given command, that when they came to the feast, they should not appear before HIM empty-handed.”
[Understood?]
The children of Israel were instructed by GOD, to observe, and celebrate, a total of seven feasts.
And Deuteronomy16:16 elaborates on three of these feasts, by saying:
"Three times a year all your males shall appear before The LORD your GOD in the place which HE chooses.
At the feast of Unleavened Bread, at the feast of weeks, and at the feast of tabernacles; and they shall not appear before The LORD empty-handed.
[Brethren,
On the Jewish calendar, there also appears a celebration to the Day of Firstfruits."
And though most Christians don’t observe, nor celebrate this Jewish holiday, it’s a good reminder to ask ourselves:
On the Day that I appear before The LORD; “What will I have to offer HIM?”
Surely, Beloved, we don't want to appear before HIM empty-handed?"
So what must we do, in order to please our MASTER and LORD?"
Isn't it best to consider it now, so that when the day finally presents itself, we don't appear before HIM empty-handed?
Mathew 25:14-30 gives us a vivid example of some hired hands, who were entrusted to do business, and produce a profit for their Master."
The hired hand, that had initially been given five talents. Wanting to be approved of, by his Master. "Produced another five talents, than the ones, he had initially been given,"
and was approved of."👌
In like manner, the one who had been given two talents, produced another two, and was approved of, by his Master. 👌
Yet, the one who had been given one talent; did absolutely nothing with it, but burry it."
And O,' how he must've regreted his lack of discipline, in taking his Masters WORD and instruction, seriously."
Through Romans 10:13-15 our MASTER, and LORD; gives us,
The BODY of CHRIST, this WORD of instruction.
It reads:
For "whoever calls on The NAME of The LORD shall be SAVED."
How then shall they call on HIM in Whom they have not Believed?
And how shall they Believe in HIM
of Whom they have not heard?
And how shall they hear without a preacher?"
And how shall they preach unless they are sent?
As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach The GOSPEL of PEACE, who bring GOOD NEWS of Good Things!"
[Brethren,
A great number of so-called Believers, are to busy taking care of their own business. And they have little, to almost no time, to be about our FATHER'S business."
They simply forget about JESUS,
Who suffered greatly for us on The Cross, to SAVE us from the consequence of our sins, so that we would embrace HIM, as our BOSS. And then, we would be about HIS business, and not just our own."
"Isn't that right?
Aren't we to redeem the time, and preach The GOSPEL of CHRIST, to this lost and dying world," all the time?" As much as possible?
Consider this,
1st Corrinthians 15:20 reveals our LORD, JESUS, as
The Firstfruits of many who have fallen asleep.
And they, as we, shall be revealed at HIS Coming."
Our LORD, JESUS, has gone before us, and stands before GOD,
The FATHER, as our required offering."
James 1:18 tells us this:
“Of HIS Own will HE brought us forth by The WORD Of TRUTH,
that we might be a kind of firstfruits of HIS creatures.”
[We, Beloved, were each created by The WORD of The LIVING GOD - JESUS CHRIST,
and are each partakers, of HIS GLORY."
For when we Believed in JESUS' NAME, and what HE accomplished on The Cross, to take away our shame. We recieved HIM, as LORD to obey, and have been given the commission to GLORIFY HIM, everyday."
And we are not alone in this responsibility." For when we Believed The GOSPEL of CHRIST, we recieved of HIS SPIRIT, and became BORN AGAIN children of The LIVING GOD."
John 1:12-13 reveals how we are HIS children.
It reads:
But as many as recieved HIM, to them HE gave the right to become children of GOD, to those who Believe in HIS NAME."
[Brethren, our LORD'S NAME,
points to SALVATION;
For The NAME of JESUS, is The NAME above all names. Yes, HIS is
The only NAME given under HEAVEN, by which we MUST be SAVED." JESUS!"
HIS NAME, means in Hebrew,
"YAHWEH is SALVATION!"
Yes, SALVATION, for everyone who Believes, and trusts, in the finished work of The Cross of CHRIST,
for the remission of sins."
And because we Believe,"
GOD has entrusted us with The GOSPEL to speak, not as pleasing men, but GOD Who tests our hearts.
Consider how in John 20:21 our LORD, is even now, sending us,
by saying:
"Peace to you!
As The FATHER has sent ME, I also send you."
["Consider what our LORD is sending us to do, and how every Soul is Precious."
And while we're considering just that; also consider, what you will offer HIM."
JESUS, Beloved, is the Firstfruits of those who will never come into condemnation." Why?
Because there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in CHRIST."
JESUS"
