Do you Glory, in knowing The LORD?
Bethren,
Would you say that it's a privilege, and a great honor, to know The LORD?"
Would you? Well, would you be willing to brag about knowing HIM to others?
I ask this, because in Jeremiah 9:23-24, The LORD, says : "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom. "Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches;
But let him who glories glory in this,
That he understands and knows ME,
That I AM The LORD, exercising LOVING KINDNESS, JUDGMENT, and RIGHTEOUSNESS in the earth.,
For in these I delight," Says The LORD.
[Brethren,
The LORD delights in our willingness to embrace HIS WORD - JESUS CHRIST, Who HIMSELF, is, our RIGHTEOUSNESS.
And GOD wants for everyone who glories, to glory in this, that we know The TRUTH of GOD." And that HE makes men who are weak in FAITH, Strong!" And would you say, that that's how you feel today;
Strong in the FAITH? "Strong because you know that our REDEEMER lives," and we Trust in HIS finished work of The Cross, and embrace HIM, as our BOSS?"
Ipray that all would, and that our FAITH in The WORD of The LIVING GOD - JESUS CHRIST, "would be as strong as Super-glue!"
Let me ask you this,
Have you ever watched one of those strong man competitions?" Would you say that your FAITH is as strong as one of those competitors on the strong men competitions?
Or would you count yourself among the weak?"
I know that no one really wants to be counted among the weak, so we find ways to appear strong."
Some use the force of emotions to manipulate, while many others use the force of personality. Those with a high IQ seek to intimidate with their intellect." Although these create an illusion of strength, they are really signs of weakness."
But Why?"
Well, because when we are truly strong, we have the courage to admit our limitations and to acknowledge our dependency on GOD."
For 'O boy, how greatly we need GOD!" And because we do, as a result, true strength often looks like weakness."
Consider this,
When the apostle Paul prayed that an affliction would be taken from him, GOD answered, “MY GRACE is sufficient for you, for MY strength is made perfect in weakness.”
[Let me share the entire passage with you."
Paul begins in 2nd Corrinthians 12:2-9 by saying":
I know man in CHRIST who fourteen years ago, whether in The Body I do not know, or whether out of the Body I do not know, GOD knows how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible WORDS, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
Of such a one I will not boast; yet of myself I will not boast, except in my infirmities. For though I might desire to boast, I will not be a fool; for I will speak The TRUTH. But I refrain, lest anyone should think of me above what he sees me to be or hears from me. And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with The LORD three times that it might depart from me. And HE said to me, "MY GRACE is sufficient for you, for MY strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of CHRIST may rest upon me.
[Brethren,
Paul would rather boast in his weaknesses, because he had great confidence in The POWER of GOD, that was resting upon him. So he responded with these WORDS, that some might find troubling: “When I am weak," then I am strong!”
Is that how you see things?"
That being weak, we can be made strong? Not many people do."
But The WORD of The LIVING GOD, being GOD, "HIMSELF"; is able to make us strong in the FAITH!'
Even as HE made the disciples who went before us, strong in the FAITH." And because some disciples felt strong in the FAITH; toward the end of The LORD'S earthly ministry, certain disciples were striving for positions of prominence."
And The LORD aware of the desires of the heart, used the argument as an opportunity to teach them that in HIS KINGDOM things are much different. "Much different!"
And because they are very different; The LORD, says, in Isaiah 55:8 : "For MY thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways MY Ways."
[And then, through Mathew 20:25-28 calls us, saying:
But JESUS called them to HIMSELF and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave - just as The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give HIS LIFE a ransom for many.
[Brethren,
With that said, "Can you see that The LORD came to give HIS LIFE a ransom for many; "but not for all?"
Yet, why not for all?" Well, because not all are willing to acknowledge their sin, and transgressions before the Law of GOD, and repent of having done so."
They refuse to repent; and through childlike FAITH,
embrace The WORD of The LIVING GOD, as LORD, and SAVIOR!"
They will refuse GOD'S WORD, and refuse to understand that The LORD wants to teach us that greatness comes by willingly assuming positions of weakness, and serving others? They will refuse to see that!"
Yet, The LORD makes it abundantly clear, that it's not by assuming positions of greatness, and commanding others to serve us."
For HE, JESUS CHRIST, being "The Greatest of all";
Affirms that HE did not come to be served; "but to serve, and to give HIS LIFE a ransom for many."
For many: But not for all!"
This is a hard TRUTH." But it's The TRUTH, nonetheless!"
Still, many will prefer the illusion of strength, to the reality of weakness." But our LORD would have us realize that true strength comes when we stop trying to be above people, and willingly put ourselves beneath them, in order to serve them."
For that's the example given to us, by JESUS CHRIST, our LORD."
"The HEAD of The BODY." Yes, The HEAD of The BODY, that we each belong to."
We are The BODY of CHRIST, and our LORD, JESUS,
is The HEAD."
Yes, HE is The One that we seek, and daily feed on;
For HE is more needful, than even bread."🍞
For HE is the "Manna" that descended from HEAVEN;
HE is, our Bread of TRUTH!" And The TRUTH is," that HE prefers to keep HIS BODY weak, in order for us to notice our great dependency on HIM."
For HE makes it abundantly clear through 2nd Corrinthians 12:9 that HIS strength is made perfect" in weakness."
[But in CHRIST, Beloved Brethren,
"We are made Strong!"💪
JESUS
