By knowing Whom we have Believed, we know Whom we obey.

Updated: Apr 12, 2022

Brethren,

Do you recall reading Mathew 25:21, and considering how The LORD will have a day, on which HE will speak to every last one of us, HIS servants?

Consider how it reads: His LORD, said to him, Well done, good and FAITHFUL servant; you were FAITHFUL over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things.

Enter into the Joy of your LORD.

Brethren,

This SCRIPTURE is from the parable of the talents. Yes, the parable of the talents! And the servant that is being rewarded, is being done so, for being FAITHFUL in doing the work that had been entrusted to him.

With that said, Beloved Brethren, Are we each aware of the fact that we have each been given a talent to believe The WORD of The LIVING GOD?

Yes?

And that because we Believe The GOSPEL Of CHRIST, we have each been entrusted with The GOSPEL to speak, not as pleasing men, but GOD Who tests our hearts?

I pray that we are, because 1st Thessalonians 2:4 assures each of us, of this, being our calling. And because it is, The LORD our GOD, would have each of us take our calling to heart, and GLORIFY HIS NAME!" And do this, knowing the time!

For Romans 13: 11-14 affirms, saying: And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our SALVATION [YESHUA] is nearer than when we first Believed. The night is far spent, the Day is at hand.

Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of LIGHT [Yes, put on The LORD JESUS CHRIST] Let us walk properly, as in the Day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.

But put on The LORD JESUS CHRIST and make no provision for the flesh.

Brethren,

Knowing that in the end of days, many "so called Believers, will turn away from the FAITH, and no longer endure sound doctrine?

Consider how 2nd Timothy 4:3-5 warns us it, by saying: For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from The TRUTH, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an Evangelist, fulfill your Ministry.

Are we each looking to fulfill our Ministry, Beloved?

I pray that we are, because I know that some students of The BIBLE divide transgressions into sins of the flesh while regarding others, as sins of the spirit. Meaning that some sins originate in our physical passions; while others come from our heart. In the story of the prodigal son, the older brother’s attitude gives an example of the latter. After briefly considering the story, the vast majority might be inclined to single out the prodigal son as being worse off than the older brother. But it’s worth taking into consideration, that when the story is all said and done, the prodigal son is restored, forgiven, and full of joy. While the older brother stands outside and refuses to go in to celebrate his brothers return. Personally speaking, after considering the older brothers attitude, Mathew 6:15 is what comes to mind.

And I am convinced, that the wise will well consider, that The LORD is absolutely serious when HE declares: But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your FATHER forgive you your trespasses.

After considering well the prodigal son story, we can be sure that the older son, who stayed home with his father, is more than simply background filler. He's clearly in the story in order to make us each think about the state of our heart, and our attitude, for sour moods towards others, create untold misery. For after being affected by these character traits personally, what are your feelings about the misery that bitterness and sour moods create?🤔

Or what about these other characteristics?

Discontent, jealousy, bitterness, resentment, defensiveness, touchiness, and ingratitude are all attitudes that ruin marriages, wither relationships, and alienate others, embittering every LIFE!

Beginning with our own.

It’s easy to defend our bad moods and to slide into deception and hypocrisy. But we must guard our hearts against such destructive attitudes. When they arise, we need to confess them, and simply let them go, wanting nothing to do with them! How else will we experience GOD’S FORGIVENESS?

Let's not let our bad attitude cause us to lose out while others enter into LIFE and Eternal JOY.

For from what I've gathered, nothing in all of creation quite compares with the Joy of knowing The LORD. Yes, knowing Whom we have Believed!

And because we know HIM Who, says, he who hears these sayings of MINE, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on The ROCK.

We wholeheartedly serve HIM!

Therefore, since we are recieving a KINGDOM which cannot be shaken, let us have GRACE, by which we may serve GOD acceptably with reverence and Godly fear.

Why?

Because The Coming of The LORD is near!

JESUS
