Abide in CHRIST, and be seen as PERFECT!

Updated: Apr 27

Brethren,

Do we each know that The WORD of The LIVING GOD, is The VINE?

Yes, The VINE that we are daily to stay connected to if we are to be fruitful.

It's the only way to produce good fruit, and much good fruit.

Right! For The LORD assures each of us of this, because we are the branches. And without staying in HIM, The WORD of The LIVING GOD. The VINE.

We will be cast out as a branch.

Let me share John 15:1-8 with you, and get your thoughts on The WORD of The LIVING GOD. It reads like this": I AM The True VINE, and MY FATHER is The VINE dresser.

Every branch in ME that does not bear fruit HE takes away. [And is that where we want to be, Beloved Brethren?

Away from our Beloved LORD, and LIFE? No!" Then please know that GOD'S WORD continues by saying]: every branch that bears fruit HE prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

[And to everyone who remains in The VINE, yet thinks, that because we fall short of GOD’S GLORY.

We are a dirty thing, which cannot attain to GOD’S MERCY and GRACE.

The LORD has this to say]: You are already clean because of The WORD which I have spoken to you.

[And are we clean, Beloved, because we Believe? Or because we refuse to embrace GOD'S WORD as TRUTH?

Right. It's because we Believe! And because we Believe, we preach The GOSPEL Of CHRIST. Our LIFE-line, and only way to bear good fruit. "Much fruit.]

Abide in ME, and I in you. As the Branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in The VINE, neither can you, unless you abide in ME.

I AM The VINE, you are the branches. He who abides in ME, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without ME you can do nothing.

["Nothing praiseworthy at least!]

If anyone does not abide in ME, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in ME, and MY WORDS abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this MY FATHER is GLORIFIED, that you bear much frut; so you will be MY disciples.

[So how do we abide in The VINE, Beloved? Simply by abiding in The LIVING WORD of GOD, JESUS CHRIST.]

And in our doing so, The LORD assures us through John 15:9-12, saying; As The FATHER LOVED ME,

I also have LOVED you; abide in MY LOVE. If you keep MY commandments, you will abide in MY LOVE, just as I have kept MY FATHER'S commandments and abide in HIS LOVE.

These things I have spoken to you, that MY joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is MY commandment, that you LOVE one another as I have LOVED you.

How much, Beloved Brethren, do you believe that our LORD has LOVED us?

Please know, that that's how I strive to LOVE you.

For John 15 records our LORD'S lesson to HIS disciples about abiding in HIM. And I pray that we all abide in CHRIST JESUS, our LORD.

Consider this,

In the midst of HIS imagery of The VINE and the branches, Our LORD says: “You are already clean because of The WORD which I have spoken to you.” And the Greek word for clean, simply means, “free from all impurity, without blemish, spotless. Yes, clean!”

In CHRIST, The VINE, we are absolutely BLAMELESS, and observed by GOD, as PERFECT."

Surely, this is why we here these WORDS from Mathew 5:48

Therefore you shall be PERFECT, just as your FATHER in HEAVEN is PERFECT.

And because we are observed as PERFECT, and CONFIDENT that GOD has begun a good work in our hearts. We know that Philippians 1:6 is speaking these WORDS to us, saying: Being confident of this very thing, that HE Who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the Day of JESUS CHRIST.

[A pure heart, Beloved, is the work of CHRIST!" And it's only by remaining in HIM, "The VINE," that we can remain clean. For if we don't, we will surely be cast out as a branch!"

For knowing that we're sinners, not because we sin. No!" But because we were each born sinners." No one needed to teach us how to break the commandments of GOD. We often fail, and fall short of The GLORY of GOD. But “if we stay connected to "The VINE," confess our sins, HE is FAITHFUL and JUST to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” And that's just as 1st John 1:9 assures us of, Beloved."

Brethren,

Our Beloved LORD, has made us clean through The BLOOD of HIS SACRIFICE. And of this TRUTH, and absolute certainty,

HE has given us HIS WORD."

So know this,

Our speech and actions that strike others as being clean and pure. Simply flow from a heart that abides in CHRIST, The VINE." Who is to sins illness, the only cure!"

And abiding in HIM, is the only way to produce good fruit.

Much good fruit!

JESUS
